“ … bassist John Leitham played his amplified acoustic instrument left-handed. This is rare. Lefties usually play right-handed. (To work properly, the instrument has to be rebuilt.) Rarer still was Leitham's unique solo technique in the high registers. …Leitham's bass pizzicato technique at times sounded like a mandolin or guitar.”
